Hey everyone!
I’ve been diving deep into the world of eco-friendly renovations lately, and I’m on the hunt for the best natural paint options out there. I recently redid my living room using Earthborn Claypaint, and I’m thrilled with the results! The texture is amazing, and it’s so comforting to know it’s free from harmful chemicals. But, as always, I’m curious to hear what others have tried and loved.
Before settling on Earthborn, I experimented with Auro Natural Paints for a smaller project. Their plant-based formula was impressive, especially on wooden surfaces. However, I’m still on the lookout for options that excel in both sustainability and performance, particularly for high-traffic areas like kitchens and hallways.
I’m really interested in hearing about your experiences with different brands and types of natural paints. Have you found any that stand up well to wear and tear? How do they fare on various surfaces? And, importantly, what are your thoughts on their environmental impact? Let’s share our top picks and tips for making our homes both beautiful and eco-friendly!
I’ve been using BioShield Clay Paint for a few projects now, and I’m really impressed with its durability, especially in high-traffic areas. It’s got a great texture and covers well, plus it’s eco-friendly credentials are solid. Has anyone else tried BioShield?

Yeah, BioShield is pretty solid. I used it in my kitchen and it’s held up against all the cooking splatters and cleaning. The only downside is the color options are a bit limited compared to some other brands. But for eco-friendliness and durability, it’s hard to beat.
I tried BioShield once but switched back to Earthborn Claypaint. Found it easier to apply and the finish was smoother. BioShield is good, but for me, Earthborn just edges it out in terms of application and final look. Plus, Earthborn’s color range is fantastic.

Interesting to hear about BioShield. I’ve been loyal to Auro Natural Paints for their plant-based formula. It’s a bit pricier, but the coverage and the fact that it’s completely non-toxic makes it worth it for me. Especially in bedrooms and kids’ rooms. Has anyone compared Auro directly with BioShield?

Interesting to hear about Ecos Organic Paint. I’ve been on the fence about trying it, but your positive experience might just push me over. I’m particularly concerned about VOCs and how they affect indoor air quality. Does Ecos have any certifications or standards they meet that you know of? It’s great to find paints that don’t compromise on health or the environment.

I tried Aglaia Natural Paints in my kitchen, and it’s held up surprisingly well against spills and stains. It’s made from natural ingredients like beeswax and plant oils, which gives it a unique texture and smell. The only downside is the limited color palette, but if you’re into earthy tones, it’s perfect. It’s reassuring to use something that’s safe for my family and the planet.

Has anyone tried mixing their own natural paints? I’ve been experimenting with milk paint recipes at home, and while it’s a bit of a learning curve, the results are rewarding. It’s a fun way to customize colors and finishes, plus you know exactly what’s going into it. I’m curious if others have gone down this DIY route and what your experiences have been.
