It’s interesting to think about the lifecycle of these products. I wonder if there’s any research comparing the environmental impact of plant-based vs. synthetic resins over their entire lifecycle, including production, transportation, application, and disposal. That would give us a clearer picture of which is truly more sustainable.

I’ve been looking into this too, and I found that some companies are now offering carbon offset programs for their products. So even if the transportation does add to the carbon footprint, they’re trying to balance it out. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a step in the right direction.
