I think the key with plant-based paints is preparation. I used NaturalHues on my deck and made sure to sand and prime the wood thoroughly before applying the paint. It’s been two years, and it’s holding up pretty well. Sure, there are a few spots that need touching up, but overall, I’m impressed. Maybe the prep work makes all the difference.
