I’ve been experimenting with different eco-friendly paints for a while now, and I’ve found that the key is in the prep work. Making sure the surface is properly primed and sealed can make a huge difference in how the paint holds up to UV exposure. It’s not just about the paint itself but how you apply it.

Has anyone considered the impact of the paint’s VOC levels in a sunroom? With all that sunlight, I’d be worried about off-gassing, especially in a space where I spend a lot of time. I chose a zero-VOC option for mine, and it’s been great for air quality, but I’m still on the lookout for the best UV-resistant option.

I think it’s also worth mentioning the role of window treatments in protecting your paint from UV damage. Even with UV-resistant paint, some level of protection from direct sunlight can extend the life of your paint job. I use light-filtering shades in my sunroom, and it’s helped a lot with maintaining the paint’s vibrancy.
